What 3 words...

I don't know about you but there have been many times in my life where I have been ready to run. You know those moments where you have been under such pressure from life circumstances that you feel ready to run.

Just look at Hagar she had been used to carry a child for Sarah and Abraham, she did what was asked of her and then she was punished for doing what was required of her. Sarah's jealousy made Hagar's life unbearable.

Your slave is in your hands,” Abram said. Do with her whatever you think best. Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.

Genesis 16:6

We see Hagar with life circumstances, not of her making, running and being at the point of breaking in the desert. Then the angel of the Lord finds her.

The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. And he said, “Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going? I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered.

Genesis 16:7-8

Stop for a minute and let's just think about this moment. There were no apps, no Google maps, no "what 3 words" for her position to be found, but the angel of the Lord shows up.

Hagar's what 3 words would have been "God Sees Me". Do you know they are yours too?

The Lord tells Hagar to return to Abraham. She has to trade her running shoes for the shoes of peace.

What are you running from? Hear these 3 words today "God Sees Me'

put on the shoes of peace for where you are is where God is also.

“and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. "

Ephesians 6:15

Trade your running shoes for the shoes of the gospel of peace and know that no matter where you are right now, the Lord is "El Roi" the God who sees you.

Blessings and Love.

Pastor Dorothy.
